This error is caused by two reasons : a registration packet problem which can be caused when connecting the Wii online for the first time or by wireless interference.

To solve these errors:

First try changing the channel of your wireless router to either channel 1 or channel 11 which can increase download speeds. Channel 11 has been know to work best in this situation. Be sure to test both channels to see which works better or faster.

To solve the registration packet problem error, try connecting the wii to the internet without the use of a firewall. If the problem still exists, try connecting to another wireless network.

To solve the wireless interference problem error, disable any nearby wireless phones or wireless interference or change the wireless broadcast channel on the wireless USB.
