This error is caued by a Wii Shop Channel issue.



To solve this error :

Wait a few hours and try again as the Wii Shop Channel might be down for scheduled maintenance.

Try changing the channel of your wireless router to either channel 1 or channel 11 which can increase download speeds. Be sure to test both channels to see which works better or faster.

Try moving the Wii console closer to your router and try again.
